Madison McFerrin in Los Angeles

Madison McFerrin is an American singer, songwriter and producer based in Brooklyn who makes alternative R&B and neo-soul. She introduced her music through the a cappella EPs Finding Foundations: Vol. I and Finding Foundations: Vol. II, then expanded the arrangements on her debut album I Hope You Can Forgive Me, featuring “Run” and “(Please Don’t) Leave Me Now.” She is the daughter of vocalist Bobby McFerrin. Madison McFerrin’s early concerts centered on unaccompanied vocals and live looping, reflecting the approach of the Finding Foundations releases. She later performed the fuller arrangements of I Hope You Can Forgive Me with a band at an NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert, while her stage history has also included Lincoln Center and Central Park SummerStage in New York.
