Madman in Pozzuoli

MadMan is an Italian rapper, born Pierfrancesco Botrugno in Grottaglie in 1988, whose tightly packed rhymes became closely associated with his collaborations with Gemitaiz. Their joint releases include Haterproof, the EP Detto, fatto and the album Kepler; his solo catalogue includes Doppelganger, Back Home and MM Vol. 3. The pair’s numbered Veleno tracks are among the recordings most closely identified with him. The Kepler Tour took MadMan and Gemitaiz around Italy in support of their collaborative album. Both rappers appeared in the same show, drawing on their joint work as well as their individual catalogues. The later Doppelganger Tour and concerts supporting Back Home placed his solo albums at the center of the set.
