Madness in Tetbury

Madness are an English band formed in Camden Town in 1976. The group play ska, pop and new wave and were part of the British 2 Tone revival. They are known for the album One Step Beyond... and songs including “Baggy Trousers,” “It Must Be Love” and “Our House.” Madness reunited for Madstock at Finsbury Park in 1992 after breaking up in the 1980s. They later performed “Our House” on the roof of Buckingham Palace during the 2012 Diamond Jubilee Concert and established the House of Fun Weekender at Butlin’s Minehead as a recurring live event. Madness have staged theatre concerts at The London Palladium and arena shows at The O2. The band have also performed outdoors at Glastonbury Festival.

Scouting For Girls are an English indie-pop band formed in London in 2005 by childhood friends Roy Stride, Greg Churchouse and Peter Ellard. Their self-titled debut album produced the singles “She’s So Lovely,” “Elvis Ain’t Dead” and “Heartbeat”; later releases included Everybody Wants to Be on TV and the song “This Ain’t a Love Song.” Scouting For Girls headlined Wembley Arena in 2008 as their debut-album touring moved into larger UK venues. In 2017, they revisited that record in full on the Scouting For Girls 10th Anniversary Tour.
