Maeckes in Berlin

Maeckes is a German rapper, singer-songwriter and producer from Stuttgart, born Markus Winter in 1982. He worked in the duo Maeckes & Plan B before co-founding the hip-hop group Die Orsons. His solo catalogue includes the albums KIDS, TILT and POOL, pairing rap with guitar-led songwriting and indie-pop arrangements. Maeckes has toured his Gitarrenkonzerte as solo shows built around voice, acoustic guitar, songs, rap and spoken passages. He also performs his solo repertoire with a band; his concerts as part of Die Orsons have included Rock am Ring and Rock im Park.
