Magnus Carlsson is a Swedish pop singer, born in 1974, who first became known as the lead vocalist of the dansband Barbados and later joined the dance-pop group Alcazar. His solo repertoire includes “Live Forever” and “Möt mig i Gamla stan,” while “Se mig” remains closely associated with his years in Barbados. In the 1990s, he toured Sweden’s dance halls and folk parks before moving onto televised arena stages. He subsequently appeared at Melodifestivalen as a member of both groups and under his own name. He has also toured Swedish churches and theatres with Christmas concert programs drawing on his seasonal repertoire, including Änglarnas tid.
