Maher Zain in Amsterdam

Maher Zain is a Swedish singer and songwriter of Lebanese origin, born in Tripoli in 1981. He performs faith-centred pop and nasheed in English and Arabic, and became known through his debut album, Thank You Allah, and songs including “Insha Allah,” “For the Rest of My Life” and “Ya Nabi Salam Alayka.” In 2011, Maher Zain presented a major concert at Stadium Malawati in Shah Alam, part of a live career that has brought his repertoire to arenas, theatres and festival stages. He later performed for a large outdoor audience at the Mawazine festival in Rabat.
