About Mahmood

Mahmood is an Italian singer-songwriter, born in Milan in 1992, whose pop and contemporary R&B draw on hip-hop and electronic production. He won the Sanremo Music Festival with “Soldi,” which finished second at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, and returned to Sanremo as a winner with Blanco on “Brividi.” His albums include Gioventù bruciata, Ghettolimpo and Nei letti degli altri.

At Expo Tel Aviv in 2019, Mahmood performed “Soldi” for the Eurovision final. The Ghettolimpo European Tour later took his live show through theatres and clubs, and in 2022 he reunited with Blanco to perform “Brividi” at Eurovision in Turin.
