Mai Kuraki in Tokyo

Mai Kuraki is a Japanese singer-songwriter, born in 1982, whose music centers on J-pop and contemporary R&B. She debuted in 1999 with “Love, Day After Tomorrow,” followed by the album Delicious Way and songs including “Stay by My Side” and “Secret of My Heart.” The latter began her long association with the Detective Conan anime series, for which she has recorded numerous theme songs. Mai Kuraki Loving You... Tour 2002 was her first nationwide concert tour, taking her to halls across Japan. She later introduced an orchestral format through the Mai Kuraki Symphonic Live series. Her 20th-anniversary Live Project 2019 “Let’s GOAL! Barairo no Jinsei” concluded at Tokyo International Forum Hall A.
