Maika Makovski in Lleida

Maika Makovski is a Spanish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Palma de Mallorca in 1983. She plays alternative rock, indie and folk, and is known for albums including Kradiaw, the John Parish-produced Maika Makovski, Desaparecer and Chinook Wind. Maika Makovski has toured with her own band through Spain and other European countries, performing in clubs, theatres and at festivals. In 2011, she wrote and performed the music for Desaparecer, appearing onstage with actor Juan Echanove in the theatre production directed by Calixto Bieito.
