Makhadzi is a South African singer and songwriter from Ha-Mashamba in Limpopo who performs dance-driven Afro-pop rooted in Tshivenda music. She is known for songs including “Matorokisi,” “Murahu” and “Ghanama,” as well as the albums Kokovha and African Queen. In 2019, she staged the Makhadzi One Woman Show at Makhuva Stadium in Thohoyandou. She later took the concert format to Botswana, performing at Royal Aria Stadium in Tlokweng in 2022.
