Makthaverskan in Manchester

Makthaverskan are a Swedish post-punk band formed in Gothenburg in 2008. Maja Milner’s forceful vocals and the group’s sharp, melodic guitars are central to albums including the self-titled debut, II, III and För Allting, as well as songs such as “No Mercy,” “Asleep” and “Witness.” Makthaverskan have toured Europe and North America as a full band, playing club venues beyond their Gothenburg base. They have also performed at Way Out West in their home city and Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
