Artist
Małgorzata Ostrowska is a Polish rock and pop singer, born in Szczecinek in 1958. She was the lead vocalist of Lombard during the band’s best-known 1980s period, recording songs including “Szklana pogoda,” “Gołębi puch” and “Mam dość.” Her work outside the group includes “Meluzyna,” recorded for the film Podróże Pana Kleksa. In 1983, Małgorzata Ostrowska’s work with Lombard was captured on the concert album Live, documenting the rock repertoire she performed with the band. After leaving the group, she expanded her stage work into musical theatre, taking the title role in Pocałunek kobiety pająka at Teatr Muzyczny in Gdynia. Her solo concerts pair songs from her own catalogue with Lombard material associated with her voice, and she has returned to the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole.
