Mandy Gonzalez is an American singer and musical-theatre actress best known for originating Nina Rosario in the Broadway production of In the Heights and for playing Elphaba in Wicked and Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton. Her recording work includes the solo album Fearless, while her performance of “Breathe” appears on the original Broadway cast recording of In the Heights. In 2008, she opened at the Richard Rodgers Theatre as Nina Rosario. She took over the role of Elphaba at the Gershwin Theatre in 2010, then returned to Broadway in 2016 as Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton.
