Artist
Marbin is a Chicago-based instrumental jazz-rock band formed in 2007 by Israeli musicians Dani Rabin, a guitarist, and Danny Markovitch, a saxophonist. Progressive rock, fusion and blues shape records such as Last Chapter of Dreaming, Aggressive Hippies and Goatman and the House of the Dead. In 2017, Marbin supported Allan Holdsworth on what became the guitarist’s final tour. The band has also maintained an extensive schedule of headline club dates across the United States, presenting its catalogue through improvisation and tightly arranged instrumental passages. The touring group is built around electric guitar and saxophone, joined by bass and drums. Its festival appearances have included Summer Camp Music Festival in Illinois and The Peach Music Festival in Pennsylvania.
