About Marcelito Pomoy
Marcelito Pomoy is a Filipino singer, born in 1984, who is known for switching between baritone and soprano parts within the same song. He won the second season of Pilipinas Got Talent and became closely associated with his dual-voice cover of “The Prayer.”
In 2011, he performed through the televised rounds of Pilipinas Got Talent before winning the competition. He returned to a televised competition stage in 2020 for America’s Got Talent: The Champions, where he finished fourth after performances including “Con te partirò” and “Beauty and the Beast.” His rendition of “The Prayer” carried the vocal parts associated with Céline Dion and Andrea Bocelli.
