Marcelo Falcão is a Brazilian singer and songwriter from Rio de Janeiro, best known as the longtime lead vocalist of O Rappa. His forceful delivery linked reggae, rap and alternative rock on songs including “Minha Alma (A Paz Que Eu Não Quero),” “Pescador de Ilusões” and “Anjos (Pra Quem Tem Fé).” After the band’s run ended, he released the solo album Viver (Mais Leve Que o Ar). O Rappa’s farewell run ended at Jeunesse Arena in 2018 after more than two decades of concerts around Brazil. Marcelo Falcão then took Viver (Mais Leve Que o Ar) on the road with a full band and performed a solo set at Rock in Rio in 2019.
