About Marea
Marea are a Spanish rock band formed in Berriozar, Navarre, in 1997. Led by singer and lyricist Kutxi Romero, they play hard-edged rock urbano and are known for albums including Besos de perro, 28.000 puñaladas and Las aceras están llenas de piojos, as well as songs such as “La rueca” and “Corazón de mimbre.”
The Piojoso Tour 07 took Marea around Spain after the release of Las aceras están llenas de piojos. They returned to the road for the El Azogue tour in 2019, then mounted the Sin Riendas tour in 2023 behind Los potros del tiempo. That run included the Cívitas Metropolitano stadium in Madrid and the Bizkaia Arena near Bilbao.
