About Mareux
Mareux is the darkwave project of Iranian-American musician and producer Aryan Ashtiani, based in Los Angeles. His synth-led coldwave and synth-pop became widely known through his 2015 cover of The Cure’s “The Perfect Girl”; his debut album, Lovers From the Past, followed in 2023.
The Lovers From the Past Tour took Mareux through clubs and theatres in North America and Europe in 2023. That concert cycle also included a performance at Coachella.
