Margaret Cho is an American stand-up comedian, actor and writer, born in San Francisco in 1968. She became widely known through the television sitcom All-American Girl and autobiographical stand-up works including I’m the One That I Want, Notorious C.H.O. and Revolution. Her comedy addresses Korean American family life, race, sexuality, body image and politics.

The 1999 one-woman show I’m the One That I Want moved to an Off-Broadway run and a national tour, then became a concert film. She followed it with Notorious C.H.O., filmed at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre, and Revolution, filmed at the Wiltern in Los Angeles.
