About Margaret Island
Margaret Island is a Hungarian acoustic-pop band formed in Budapest in 2013 by singer Viki Lábas, guitarist Bálint Füstös and bassist Kristóf Törőcsik. Folk and alternative elements shape songs including “Eső” and “Veled minden,” while the albums Egyszer volt and Bakancslista established the group’s melodic, acoustic-led sound.
Margaret Island has played Budapest Park and Sziget Festival in its home country. Other festival appearances have included Strand Fesztivál and Művészetek Völgye in Kapolcs.
