Mariachi El Bronx in East Stroudsburg

Mariachi El Bronx is an American mariachi band formed in Los Angeles in 2006 as an alter ego of the hardcore punk group The Bronx. Its acoustic guitars, brass, violin and guitarrón underpin songs including “Cell Mates” and “48 Roses,” while its recorded catalogue includes three self-titled albums commonly distinguished as I, II and III. Mariachi El Bronx opened selected dates on Foo Fighters’ Wasting Light Tour, then supported The Killers during the Battle Born touring cycle. The band’s festival history also includes Coachella and the paired Reading and Leeds festivals.
