Marian Hill is an American electronic-pop duo formed in Philadelphia in 2013 by singer Samantha Gongol and producer Jeremy Lloyd. Their sparse, jazz-tinged sound became widely known through “Down,” which appeared on the debut album Act One and reached a broader audience after featuring in an Apple AirPods commercial. Marian Hill toured behind Act One after its 2016 release, then took the Unusual Tour through North America in 2018 in support of their second album. Their concerts feature Gongol on lead vocals and Lloyd on keyboards and electronics, accompanied by saxophonist Steve Davit. In 2017, the duo performed at Coachella and Lollapalooza.
