Marina Lima in Curitiba

Marina Lima is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Rio de Janeiro in 1955. Her pop and rock catalog is associated with albums including Fullgás and Virgem, as well as songs such as “Fullgás,” “Uma Noite e 1/2” and “À Francesa.” Marina Lima performed at the inaugural Rock in Rio in 1985, bringing her mid-1980s repertoire to the festival’s first edition. In 2003, Acústico MTV documented a later stage of her concert work through new arrangements of songs drawn from across her catalog.
