About MARINA
MARINA is a Welsh singer-songwriter born Marina Diamandis in Brynmawr in 1985. Recording first as Marina and the Diamonds, she established her synth-pop sound on The Family Jewels and Electra Heart, the album that includes “Primadonna” and “How to Be a Heartbreaker.” Her later albums include Froot, Love + Fear and Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land.
The Family Jewels Tour began her headline touring in 2010, and she also opened selected dates on Katy Perry’s California Dreams Tour. The Lonely Hearts Club Tour followed Electra Heart; on the later Neon Nature Tour, the set was divided into sections devoted to The Family Jewels, Electra Heart and Froot. She subsequently mounted the Love + Fear Tour and the Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land Tour.
