Maroon 5 are an American pop-rock band from Los Angeles led by singer Adam Levine. The musicians first worked together as Kara’s Flowers before adopting the Maroon 5 name. Their debut album under that name, Songs About Jane, contained “This Love” and “She Will Be Loved”; later singles include “Moves Like Jagger,” “Sugar” and “Girls Like You.” The 2013 Honda Civic Tour paired Maroon 5 with Kelly Clarkson for a North American amphitheatre run. The Maroon V Tour followed with arena dates, and in 2019 they performed the Super Bowl LIII halftime show at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta; Travis Scott and Big Boi appeared as guests. In 2023, they opened the M5LV residency at Dolby Live in Las Vegas. Maroon 5 have played Rock in Rio more than once and also performed at Chile’s Viña del Mar International Song Festival.
