Masahiko Kondō in Kikugawa

Masahiko Kondō is a Japanese pop singer and actor, born in Yokohama in 1964. He made his recording debut in 1980 with “Sneaker Blues” and became known for songs including “Gin Gira Gin ni Sarigenaku,” “Highteen Boogie” and “Orokamono,” which won the Japan Record Award. In 2015, Masahiko Kondō marked 35 years since his recording debut with a concert at Nippon Budokan. Later that year he returned to NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen as the White Team’s closing performer.
