About Matanza Ritual
Matanza Ritual is a Brazilian heavy-rock and hardcore-punk band formed in 2019 around Matanza vocalist Jimmy London. Its repertoire includes Matanza songs such as “Clube dos Canalhas,” “Ela Roubou Meu Caminhão” and “Bom é Quando Faz Mal,” as well as original material collected on the album A Vingança é Meu Motor.
At Rock in Rio in 2022, Matanza Ritual performed on the Supernova stage, bringing both parts of that repertoire into a festival set. The four-piece concert lineup featured Jimmy London on vocals, Antônio Araújo on guitar, Felipe Andreoli on bass and Amilcar Christófaro on drums.
