Matchbox Twenty is an American rock band formed in Orlando in 1995 and led by singer-songwriter Rob Thomas. The band’s debut album, Yourself or Someone Like You, introduced songs including “Push,” “3AM” and “Real World.” Mad Season followed with “Bent” and “If You’re Gone,” while More Than You Think You Are included “Unwell.” The Mad Season Tour took Matchbox Twenty through North America and Europe in 2000 and 2001. A 2003 performance at Philips Arena in Atlanta was filmed for Show: A Night in the Life of Matchbox Twenty. The band later co-headlined a North American tour with Goo Goo Dolls in 2013 and toured with Counting Crows on the 2017 A Brief History of Everything Tour, followed by another large-venue run on the 2023 Slow Dream Tour.
The All-American Rejects are an American rock band formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 1999 by Tyson Ritter and Nick Wheeler. Their pop-punk and alternative-rock catalogue includes “Swing, Swing,” “Dirty Little Secret,” “Move Along” and “Gives You Hell,” while the albums The All-American Rejects and Move Along established their best-known sound. The band played the Vans Warped Tour in 2003 and led the Tournado tour during the Move Along era. They later joined Blink-182’s 2009 reunion tour, then returned to North American headlining dates in 2023 for the Wet Hot All-American Summer Tour.
