About MATRANG
Alan Khadzaragov, who performs as MATRANG, is a Russian singer, rapper and songwriter from Vladikavkaz, born in 1995. His sparse electronic pop and hip-hop became widely known through the song “Meduza.” After joining the Gazgolder label, he released his debut album EYA in 2018.
In 2018, MATRANG performed at VK Fest in Saint Petersburg after “Meduza” had established his name. He also appeared at Gazgolder Live, the label’s concert event in Moscow.
