Matt Mathews in Hot Springs

Matt Mathews is an American comedian, writer and photographer based in Alabama. He became known through candid social videos about farm life, marriage and his work as a boudoir photographer, then brought the same autobiographical humor to stand-up and the podcast Real Talk with Matt Mathews. In 2023, he took his first headlining stand-up tour, When That Thang Get Ta Thang'n, to theatres across the United States. He followed it in 2024 with the Boujee on a Budget Tour, continuing his move into theatre-scale comedy shows. His shows center on solo stand-up drawn from his family, work and life on a farm. Audience submissions and unscripted interaction also feature in a live edition of Confessions with Matt.
