Matt Rife is an American stand-up comedian and actor, born in Ohio in 1995. He became known through appearances on MTV’s Wild ’N Out and widely circulated crowd-work clips on TikTok. His filmed stand-up includes the specials Matthew Steven Rife, Walking Red Flag, Natural Selection and Lucid. The ProbleMATTic World Tour began in 2023 and took Matt Rife into theatres and arenas. The itinerary included multiple performances at Radio City Music Hall in New York, followed in 2024 by an appearance at the Hollywood Bowl during Netflix Is a Joke Fest. His sets combine prepared material with direct exchanges with audience members. The 2024 Netflix special Lucid documents that format in a comedy-club setting at The Comedy Zone in Charlotte.
