Artist
Mattiel is an American indie-rock project formed in Atlanta around singer-songwriter Mattiel Brown and guitarist-producer Jonah Swilley. Its garage-rock sound and Brown’s low, direct vocals are heard on the albums Mattiel, Satis Factory and Georgia Gothic, as well as songs including “Keep the Change,” “Count Your Blessings” and “Je Ne Me Connais Pas.” Mattiel supported Jack White on part of the Boarding House Reach Tour in 2018. Headline club dates in Britain and continental Europe followed around Satis Factory, and the group performed at Glastonbury Festival in 2019.
