Artist
Matze Rossi is the solo name of German singer-songwriter Matthias Nürnberger, formerly the singer and guitarist of the punk band Tagtraum. From Schweinfurt, he writes German-language acoustic rock and indie songs; his solo catalogue includes the albums Ich fange Feuer and Wofür schlägt dein Herz. Beginning in 2004, he took his solo material onstage with voice and acoustic guitar and kept touring after his former band ended. He later expanded the concert format to include a full backing band, still billed as Matze Rossi.
