Maxi Pongratz in Aschaffenburg

Maxi Pongratz is a German singer-songwriter and accordionist from Oberammergau. He is known as the singer of the Bavarian folk group Kofelgschroa and for solo records including the self-titled Maxi Pongratz and Meine Ängste, whose songs pair Bavarian-dialect lyrics with accordion-led arrangements. He spent years performing as Kofelgschroa’s singer and accordionist before taking his own songs to theatres, clubs and cabaret venues under his own name. In his solo concerts, material from Maxi Pongratz and Meine Ängste is sung and accompanied on accordion by Maxi Pongratz.
