May Erlewine in Benton Harbor

May Erlewine is an American singer-songwriter from Michigan whose music draws on folk, country and soul. She is known for songs including “Shine On” and “Never One Thing,” as well as albums such as Mother Lion and Second Sight. May Erlewine toured and recorded as a duo with fellow Michigan songwriter Seth Bernard. She later performed as part of The Sweet Water Warblers with Rachael Davis and Lindsay Lou, while another branch of her live work placed her at the front of the soul band The Motivations.
