Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster is an American Southern metal and hardcore band formed in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2004 by vocalist Dallas Taylor, formerly of Underoath. The band is known for the albums Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, II and III, and songs including “Darkest of Kin” and “Step Up (I’m on It).” Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster performed on Vans Warped Tour and at Cornerstone Festival during its initial years. After Taylor suffered serious injuries in an ATV accident in 2016, the band took a long break from performing and returned to the stage at Furnace Fest in 2022.
Vanna is an American post-hardcore band formed in Boston in 2004. Its catalog pairs screamed and clean vocals with metalcore and melodic-hardcore songwriting, led by albums including Curses, A New Hope and All Hell, and songs such as “Safe to Say” and “Year of the Rat.” Vanna played the Vans Warped Tour during its original run and later closed its farewell tour with a 2017 concert at The Palladium in Worcester. After that breakup, the band reunited for a 2024 performance at Roadrunner.
