Mayra Andrade is a Cape Verdean singer and songwriter born in Havana in 1985. She sings morna, funaná and batuque alongside contemporary acoustic pop and jazz, often performing in Cape Verdean Creole. Her best-known albums include her debut Navega, Lovely Difficult and Manga.

The 2010 live album Studio 105 captured her in an acoustic concert at Radio France in Paris, drawing on Navega and Stória, stória.... In 2015 she performed songs from that repertoire and Lovely Difficult for NPR’s Tiny Desk in Washington, D.C.
