About MC HotDog
MC HotDog is a Taiwanese rapper, born Yao Chung-jen in Taipei in 1978, whose Mandarin-language hip-hop addresses city life, identity and social pressure. His catalog includes the albums Wake Up and Mr. Almost, as well as the songs “我愛台妹” and “差不多先生”; Wake Up received the Golden Melody Award for Best Mandarin Album.
As a member of 兄弟本色, MC HotDog toured with Chang Chen-yue and MJ116 on the 日落黑趴 world tour, which concluded at Kaohsiung National Stadium in 2017. He later staged his solo 髒藝術家 concert at Taipei Arena in 2023.
