Medium Build is the American indie-pop and singer-songwriter project of Nick Carpenter, based in Anchorage, Alaska. His songs pair candid writing with rock and electronic textures; the 2024 album Country includes “Crying Over U,” “Knowing U Exist” and “In My Room.” Medium Build toured as an opening act for Lewis Capaldi, Holly Humberstone and FINNEAS, then headlined club and theatre dates under the project’s own name. A 2024 Tiny Desk Concert documented him fronting a live band for NPR Music. Festival appearances have included Bonnaroo in Tennessee and Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas.
The Scratch are an Irish band formed in Dublin in 2016. The quartet plays folk-rooted hard rock and metal on acoustic guitars and cajón, and is known for songs including “Old Dog” and “Another Round” and the albums Couldn't Give a Rats and Mind Yourself. The Scratch opened for Dropkick Murphys on a European tour before appearing at Download Festival and Hellfest. They later brought their own headline show to Dublin’s 3Arena.
