Jean Rondeau in Dresden

Jean Rondeau is a French harpsichordist born in Paris in 1991. He is known for his interpretations of Baroque keyboard music, particularly Bach, Rameau and Royer, and for recordings including Imagine, Vertigo and Melancholy Grace. In 2012, he won first prize at the Musica Antiqua Festival’s International Harpsichord Competition in Bruges. He subsequently brought solo recital programmes to Wigmore Hall and Carnegie Hall, while also touring chamber music with Nevermind, the early-music quartet he co-founded.
