Melek Mosso in Istanbul

Melek Mosso is a Turkish singer-songwriter born in Kayseri in 1988. She performs pop and arabesk, drawing on a background in jazz, and became known through her interpretation of Yıldız Tilbe’s “Vursalar Ölemem” and the No.1 collaboration “Hiç Işık Yok.” Her own songs include “Keklik Gibi,” “Hayatım Kaymış” and “İlletim.” In Istanbul, she performed jazz and swing with Zbam The Band and sang on the Kadıköy-Beşiktaş ferry route. She later took her solo repertoire to major concert stages, including Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre.
