MERRY in Chiyoda City

MERRY is a Japanese rock band formed in Tokyo in 2001. Led by vocalist Gara, the group plays visual kei rock marked by punk, hardcore and jazz elements, and is known for albums including Gendai Stoic and Nu Chemical Rhetoric, as well as songs such as “Japanese Modernist” and “Ringo to Uso.” In 2006, MERRY performed at Wacken Open Air in Germany, its first concert outside Japan. The following year, the band appeared at J-Rock Revolution at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.
