About MEZERG
MEZERG is the stage name of French electronic musician Marc Mezergue, who plays piano-driven techno and house using keyboards, foot-operated percussion and theremin. His one-man “PianoBoomBoom” performances brought attention to tracks including “Welcome Theremin” and “Rave,” followed by the album Chez Mezerg.
During France’s 2020 lockdown, MEZERG played concerts from a balcony in Bordeaux, using the compact solo setup that became central to his stage work. He later took that format into clubs and festivals, and a full concert at Nancy Jazz Pulsations in 2021 captured him building dance rhythms while moving among piano, pedals and theremin.
