Mi Casa in Lisbon

Mi Casa are a South African house trio formed in Johannesburg in 2011. Vocalist and guitarist J'Something, producer and keyboardist Dr Duda, and trumpeter Mo-T make soulful house shaped by live instrumentation. Their best-known songs include “These Streets,” “Heavenly Sent” and “Jika,” while their releases include the self-titled debut Mi Casa and the album Su Casa. Mi Casa have performed at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, presenting the core trio’s established concert roles: J'Something sings and plays guitar, Dr Duda handles keyboards, and Mo-T plays trumpet. The group has also appeared in the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts series.
