Its melodic alternative rock is represented by songs including “Misery,” “Let Down” and “Superglue,” as well as the EP Everything Will Be OK Eventually and the self-titled album Michigander. In 2022, Michigander performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago, where Singer broke his leg during the set but finished the performance before undergoing surgery. After his recovery, the full-band project returned to touring and appeared at festivals including Bonnaroo.
