Micky & The Motorcars is an American country-rock band formed in Austin in 2002 by Idaho-raised brothers Micky and Gary Braun. Rooted in the Texas and Red Dirt scenes, the group is known for songs including “Long Road to Nowhere” and “Raise My Glass,” as well as the albums Careless, Naive and Hearts from Above. The concert album Live at Billy Bob’s Texas documents the band at the Fort Worth honky-tonk that has hosted generations of country performers. Micky & The Motorcars have also made repeated appearances at the Braun Brothers Reunion, their family’s annual music festival in Challis, Idaho.
