Midlake in Ankara

Midlake is an American indie-rock and folk-rock band formed in Denton, Texas, in 1999. The group became known through albums including The Trials of Van Occupanther, The Courage of Others and Antiphon, as well as songs such as “Roscoe,” “Young Bride” and “Head Home.” The touring cycle behind The Trials of Van Occupanther took Midlake through North American and European clubs, theatres and festivals. After Tim Smith left the group, Eric Pulido handled lead vocals during the live campaign for Antiphon. Midlake returned to the road following a long hiatus, and the 2022 dates for For the Sake of Bethel Woods included Manchester’s Albert Hall and the Roundhouse in London.
