Artist
Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2000 and led by the longtime Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers guitarist and songwriter. Their guitar-led roots rock is documented on the albums Wreckless Abandon, External Combustion and Vagabonds, Virgins & Misfits. In 2022, Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs undertook their first national headline tour, supporting External Combustion in clubs and theatres across the United States. Later that year they opened selected dates on Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show, and in 2024 they toured with Lucinda Williams. Campbell fronts a full rock band on guitar and vocals. Their set lists combine songs from the group’s albums with compositions he co-wrote with Tom Petty, including “Runnin’ Down a Dream” and “You Got Lucky.”
