Mike Tramp is a Danish rock singer and songwriter, born in Copenhagen in 1961, best known as the lead vocalist and co-founder of White Lion. The album Pride produced the band’s signature songs “Wait” and “When the Children Cry,” while Big Game included “Little Fighter.” After White Lion, he fronted Freak of Nature and released solo records including Capricorn and Cobblestone Street. In 1988, White Lion joined AC/DC for North American dates on the Blow Up Your Video World Tour. Mike Tramp later toured extensively as a solo acoustic performer, presenting White Lion material and songs from his own albums in clubs and theatres. On the Songs of White Lion tour, Mike Tramp returned to a full-band setting and centered the set on the White Lion catalog.
