Mikel Erentxun & Duncan Dhu in London

Mikel Erentxun is a Spanish singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Caracas and raised in the Basque Country. He co-founded the pop-rock band Duncan Dhu in 1984 and sang on songs including “Cien gaviotas” and “En algún lugar.” His solo career began with the album Naufragios, which included “A un minuto de ti.” His solo concerts were documented on Tres noches en el Victoria Eugenia, recorded at Teatro Victoria Eugenia in San Sebastián and released in 2008. In 2013 he returned to the road with Diego Vasallo for Duncan Dhu’s reunion and the concerts surrounding El duelo.

Duncan Dhu are a Spanish pop-rock band formed in San Sebastián in 1984 by Mikel Erentxun, Diego Vasallo and Juan Ramón Viles. Their best-known recordings include “Cien gaviotas,” “En algún lugar” and “Una calle de París,” while the albums Canciones and El grito del tiempo established their guitar-led sound. The El duelo tour returned Duncan Dhu to the stage in 2013, opening at the Kursaal and moving through theatres across Spain before reaching Mexico City.
